Muriwai (2021, Single, 1 Tracks)

Muriwai, (English translation: 'Waters End') is a beach on the west coast of Auckland, New Zealand. A place where gannets fly above while you walk along the silty black sand alongside the cliffs. This place serves as the inspiration for this short song, with the artwork having been based off of a real photo taken there. The pace channels the calmness of the sea when you are there at dusk.

Homecoming
Homecoming (2021, Single, 1 Tracks)

For people like Matthew Paull who live abroad, ‘Homecoming’ reflects on the pureness of returning to the country where you grew up and the introspection that comes with that, after a year of uncertainty. The piece utilises a simple melody with simple arpeggios underneath, echoing how simple life can feel, when you’re at home in the midst of family.
